Purebred Breeders LLC is proud of the work it does as a network of responsible breeders.
This is because we know that each of our puppies is more than just a pet. With our training they each become a valuable part of a deserving family, and contribute greatly to the well-being and development of all those who are involved in the care process. It has long been our belief that dogs are good for the whole family, and in particularly children. Today we are going to show you why we still hold that belief, and ways a new puppy can improve your life.
Benefits to the Family
At the most basic, dogs are great fun. A well-trained and balanced canine companion is entertaining, always there when you need company, can sense when you are down, and will always try to cheer you up. They keep you happy with everything from performing tricks, to cuddling up to you, begging for treats with their adorable eyes and expressions, and developing little antics based on their personalities.
Purebred Breeders LLC knows that taking care of a dog can be hard work. It can also require behavior modification to ensure that each member in the family understands what to never do to the family dog, no matter what size. This is why dogs have the ability to teach children responsibility, and can help with their behavior. They also learn what it means to take care of a living being besides themselves, and how to be compassionate.
Dogs, Charities, and Child Development
We here at Purebred Breeders LLC were elated to learn that a group such as Dogs Helping Kids exists. This charitable trust has several ways of using dogs to aid the development, socialization, and re-socialization of children. The trust now uses dogs to teach responsibility, empathy, respect, and above all, nonviolence. This remarkable feat is achieved through talks, workshops, and educational courses done with dogs that are highly trained.
How charities are using Dogs To Help Troubled Teens
Dogs Helping Kids has been extended to help troubled teens who have been locked out of the regular educational system. This is done through a one year course in which teens between the ages of 14 and 16 are taught how to address emotional and behavioral issues. Purebred Breeders LLC is especially impressed with this initiative because it highlights the role of dogs in helping teens through the process of positive behavior modification.
Dogs and Autism
There has been much skepticism about the role of dogs in helping families cope with prolonged life-defining health conditions. This is why Purebred Breeders LLC is so glad that studies are now concluding that dogs are a tremendous help to parents and caregivers of children with autism. A University of Lincoln case study has revealed that dog owners with autistic children feel less overwhelmed by the condition because they have the companionship of their dogs. These parents also notice that their dogs help to improve their children’s behaviors; another reason for the decreased stress. This is mainly in terms of getting them to eat, go to bed, and lessening tantrums.
With all these benefits why wouldn’t you bring home a loveable pooch for the whole family to enjoy? All it takes is finding one with the right breed and personality for you and your family and Purebred Breeders LLC can help.
